April TechLens

TechLens - April 2021 TechLens with Kayne Grau;

Discussing Tech Talent, Covid, Culture, and a Couple Laughs.

Welcome. If you know, or have heard of us, you are familiar with our message; “How can we help?” Not so long ago were the days when responsibilities of those advising companies on their office space would be limited to merely mining space and facilitating leases. Things have changed and we enjoy having a different lens on the process and value we need to contribute' well beyond the sphere of leasing office space.

Please reach out if our networks, access or acumen (in business leveraging our experience as founders and as entrepreneurs) can help you. We believe in Chicago and investing in the tech ecosystem any way we can, whether that means helping companies with office strategies, or anything other than.

Our thesis for the TechLens feature is to share ideas, perspectives, interesting and provocative stories surrounding start-up or established companies in Tech. Corby and I enjoy sharing resources we have discovered that are relevant, worthwhile and useful.

In this edition of the TechLens interview series we were excited to connect with a serial start up c-level catalytic talent in the Chicago tech ecosystem; Kayne Grau, most recently having exited Driven (a Lightbank portfolio company, acquired by Kar Global in April 2017). Now President of Uptake, Kayne has his feet firmly planted in foundational strategy and two hands on the wheel as he navigates the company into new strategic waters. Thank you again Kayne for your time and for joining.
